2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Booking Confirmation
All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise specified during the booking process.
2.2 Payment Terms
Payments must be made in full at the time of booking unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
Accepted payment methods are listed on our payment page.
Bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited availability.
2.3 Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our services unless explicitly stated in the trip description or purchased as an additional service. Travelers are strongly encouraged to secure their own travel insurance covering health, accidents, cancellations, and repatriation.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing at contact@borderlessexpeditions.com. The cancellation date will be considered the date we receive your written notification. Cancellation charges apply as follows:
More than 60 days before departure: 15% of the total trip cost
60–30 days before departure: 30% of the total trip cost
29–15 days before departure: 60% of the total trip cost
14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total trip cost
Booking Transfers
You may transfer your booking to another person up to 14 days before departure free of charge. Written notice must be provided.
4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1 Travel Documents
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any other required documentation for their destination(s).
4.2 Health Requirements
Travelers must meet all health requirements for their destination(s), including vaccinations and medical precautions.
4.3 Failure to Meet Requirements
Failure to meet travel document or health requirements may result in denied participation without refund.
5. Liability
5.1 Borderless Expeditions Limited is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
5.2 We are not responsible for incidents or accidents during activities; these should be covered by your travel insurance.
5.3 Travelers are responsible for their personal belongings during the trip.
6. Complaints and Disputes
6.1 Submitting Complaints
Any complaints during or after your trip should be sent to us at contact@borderlessexpeditions.com within seven (7) days of the trip ending. We will prioritize resolving reasonable requests in good faith.
6.2 Dispute Resolution
If no agreement can be reached, disputes will be referred to mediation services based in Hong Kong (e.g., Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre).
7. Privacy Policy
We collect personal data necessary for processing bookings and providing services as outlined in our Privacy Policy. For inquiries regarding personal data usage or deletion requests, please contact us at contact@borderlessexpeditions.com.
8. Financial Protection
Borderless Expeditions guarantees reimbursement for eligible cancellations as per our cancellation policy outlined above. No external financial institution or insurance provider is involved in this guarantee.
9. Insurance
Borderless Expeditions does not provide liability coverage for travelers unless explicitly stated or offered as an additional service.
10. Additional Information
At this time, Borderless Expeditions works with trusted local partners for accommodations and experiences but does not have formal partnerships with external organizations.
